Why Wetherby diners come to Konak Meze

Wetherby sits south east of Harrogate, close to Wetherby Racecourse and the riverside weir. There is plenty of good food nearby, but Turkish cooking over real charcoal is harder to find — which is why guests make the short trip in to Mount Parade.

We opened in February 2013 as Harrogate's first dedicated Turkish restaurant, won Restaurant of the Year 2019 at Harrogate's Hospitality and Tourism Awards, and our team took Waitress of the Year in 2023.

A choice of three hot and cold meze with a 125ml glass of house wine is GBP 16.95, and two courses from the a la carte menu are GBP 22.95. Both are an easy reason to drive in from Wetherby for lunch, and both are served alongside the full menu.

Getting here from Wetherby

About twenty minutes up the A661 through Spofforth. Mount Parade is a minute from Parliament Street and the Royal Baths, with the Jubilee and Victoria multi-storey car parks a short walk away and taxi ranks on Station Parade.
